SCARLET @ Scarlet Mango Inn Key West

A great place to relax away from all the hustle and bustle. The pool was perfect after walking all day. Location is key. Highly recommend the Little Pearl and Date & Thyme Cafe. Look forward to staying again. Everything was perfect.

This property was extremely convenient, clean and very up to date. I was extremely impressed with the interior decorating. Very, very tasteful. Great clean shower and lots of extra towels. They had silverware, nice plastic glasses that we could use by the pool. Speaking of the pool, got more sunlight than anticipated, it was very clean and well maintained. Much needed relaxation!

We booked the Scarlett Mango Inn after not knowing what part of town my husband and I wanted to stay in. It was beautifully decorated, modern and very central to Duval and all things we wanted to check out while in town.
I would only make 2 comments that is more personal preference than the location:
1. Coming from where I use smart locks at home... I believe these were the Amazon Basic kind so I couldn't tell when the door locked or unlocked or if it auto locked once we left, but found myself pressing the lock button multiple times. You have to use at front door and then the one to your room.
2. Location is great bc only about a block from Duval. One thing you get from being right off the main is that trash pick up can be at 4:30am. I think if you're a light sleeper, a resort would avoid some of the City noises.

This was our second stay at the Scarlet Mango Inn. Again it was almost flawless! Our suite was clean, bright, well appointed and a great place for us to relax in the few times we weren't traipsing around Key West. The location, right off Duval Street, is ideal for walking in virtually any direction to hit the hot spots and our favorite places - but the inn and area is pretty quiet at night so sleep is not interrupted. The complementary bubbly was most welcome and we enjoyed but the pool one afternoon. Our only suggestions, coming from the missus, is a make-up mirror and stool or bench in the large shower would be nice. These are not showstoppers, just feed back for the inn keepers.
We will stay here again!

The rental was exactly as pictured. Beautiful vintage house, very clean and spacious. Tucked away off Duval St. and everything (restaurants, bars , shopping, etc) is within walking distance. I honestly didn’t want to leave. The vacation house has nice amenities waiting for you (snack basket, a bottle of Cava, small pool, main sitting area, rocking chairs, patio, etc). I highly recommend this rental for a relaxing vacation.

The Scarlet Mango Inn could not have been better! The location is super convenient with most everything walkable. The charm of the beautiful old home is second to none. Our room was large, clean, well furnished, comfortable and stocked. We really enjoyed watching the world go by from both balconies as well. Check in and check out were seamless and the hosts were very accommodating. 10/10 will stay here again. You won’t be disappointed!

This place did not disappoint! Beautiful home, very clean and grounds were beautiful. Comfortable furniture and Best mattress we have slept on. Convenient to Duval but away from the noise. Very quiet and most time felt we were the only couple there. Check in and out very easy. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

This place did not disappoint! The location was perfect. Our room, the common area and pool were so clean. The staff was helpful immediately if we had any questions. We will absolutely stay here again.

From start to finish this was one of the easiest and cleanest properties I have ever stayed at.
As the VIP manager for a 5 star property to now General Manager of a large hotel, I can only pray everyday we live up to this properties cleaning and maintenance. We felt like we were completely alone the entire time we were there, we never saw the other guests in the pool or common areas. The water dispenser and ice maker in the common living room was not only a necessity but perfect for filling your water bottles for the days in the heat. All of the bike rental companies they work with were so accommodating and picked up and dropped off bikes with ease. We stayed in the Scarlett and will 100% recommend this property to everyone we speak with. On a side note I could have had a huge discount at one of 5 hotels in the area with the company I work for and I am so glad we splurged instead, this property is un-beatable.

We loved our stay at the Scarlet Mango Inn. We stayed in the Scarlet Room and it was perfect for us. The bedroom was beautiful and had it's own private balcony sheltered by beautiful trees. The living room was comfortable and opened up to the shared front balcony. We used the pool almost every day. It was located perfectly for walking everywhere, yet far enough away from Duval that it wasn't noisy when you want to get sleep. Sarabeth's restaurant is right across the street for a delicious breakfast.
The only problem we had was we were sad to leave.

The building and room were perfect. Everything was just as it showed in the pictures. We had everything we needed. When I had questions and texted the innkeepers, they were quick to respond. It was super quick walk to Duval street which was nice. The only downside was the outside noise which is nothing that can be fixed. Being so close to the main strip, the traffic and outside noises (emergency vehicles, airplanes, roosters, etc) were so incredibly loud it made it hard to sleep. We purchased a box fan and it helped significantly. We would definitely stay here again if we every make the trip.

Wanting to disconnect and recharge, then Scarlet Mango Inn can provide that destination. Steps away from the action, but the lush gardens provide the perfect backdrop. Walk to breakfast each morning, cool off from afternoon heat in the pool, then back out for sunset at Mallory Square and amazing dinner service. The room was comfy, beautiful decorate and we were never in need of anything. The Inn Keepers were amazing. We will be returning.

Truly the best vacation rental experience I ever had. The unit was spotless. I would choose to stay here to any 5 star hotel property on the island. Welcome champagne and even a snack was an awesome touch. The location is prime, it’s adults only. It’s a shared building but on the rare occasion you interact with other guests everyone was friendly. I didn’t hear any of the other units. The pool and grounds were immaculate. The unit has a great balcony since it’s the 2nd floor. Ice machine in the lobby... great planning. In true Key West fashion the street gets loud when the bars close, but as other reviewers said this should be expected and adds to the energy. Bring ear plugs if it bothers you. I hope to be back to this property. I was so impressed. Thank you for a perfect stay.

We loved our stay especially our room. We stayed in the Scarlet room. Nice living room area. Big bedroom and shower area was perfect. The room was so clean and serene. We loved having two balconies to enjoy. Both enjoyed many times during our stay. The pool area is very nice. Staff is excellent and great location. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I have already recommended this beautiful place to so many people. Loved it!

Stayed in Scarlet for 4 nights for our anniversary trip. Great location, beautiful property, very nice amenities. The pool gets great afternoon sun, endless supplies of coffee and snacks. Simonton can get loud, but the bluetooth speaker in the room helped drown out noise. We've been coming to Key West for 10 years and finally found a place we would stay again, highly recommend!

The Scarlet Mango Inn was perfect. Our stay in the Scarlet room was great, the property is flawless. We couldn’t ask for a better property or location. We could walk almost anywhere and we did! The on-site pool was a perfect accommodation to break up your day. So relaxing and the sunshine felt great. There are other guests of course at they property but it never felt crowded and we were fortunate enough to have some friendly neighbors to hangout at the pool with one day. The rooms were beautiful and the provided coffee, snacks, water, and ice made the accommodations well appointed and easy for us since we didn’t have a car. (You don’t need a car at this location). The only downsides which I will let others know so they are aware were the very loud garbage trucks and the roosters. It is nothing the property could control but it did wake us up at 4 am everyday. We took it in stride because everything else overrode these unfortunate disturbances. We loved our stay and are talking about coming back and bringing our friends to enjoy the property with us. Book this place you won’t regret it!

The inn is very beautifully renovated and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable bed, lush towels, two balconies to sit and watch the activity outside. They could supply a bit more soap and more substantial toilet paper.

My friend & I chose Scarlet for our annual Girls' Getaway, & it was perfect! The suite is gorgeous, and impeccably clean. One private porch plus a shared outdoor porch gave us lovely outdoor options. Location was unbeatable, in the heart of Old Town. Having the pool to relax by in the afternoons and get out of the sun for a bit was a wonderful option. We loved everything about the lodging. Innkeepers have done a wonderful job. I highly recommend.

Beautiful spacious room just as described with comfy bed, private balcony and everything you need to start your vacation - snacks, coffee and a bottle of bubbly too! Great communication with the innkeepers and they got us into our room early.
Great pool and excellent location. Go to the Thirsty Mermaid just around the corner for a great meal! Loved the Hemingway House and Danger Wind and Wine Sunset Sail.

It was spotless upon arrival and the cleaning crew kept the common areas immaculate. The location made it easy to access all of the attractions we were interested in visiting. A special shout out to the high quality bedding. We were in the Scarlet Room and would highly recommend.

The inn is immaculate and the room thoughtfully appointed. The bed, linens and towels are of the highest quality. The front porch and the balcony of the room were nice areas to sit and enjoy coffee (and the complimentary bubbles!) and people watch. The inn is very close to Duval street and the action , but far enough for some relative quiet. We loved the inn and plan to return.
